Give us a brief introduction of yourself?
My name is Ogbeide Oseremen, I am professionally a Gospel DJ, I graduated from Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma, 2014 with a degree in Economics.

Economics and Disc joggling don't go hand in hand; how come the DJ you are now?
I had always been into music in my teenage as the Vice President of Agape Force Faith arena(a teen Ministry of Church of God Mission), I also had a basic knowledge in sound and events decoration and then when I got into school I started handling street blast in Christian Fellowship International (CFi) Ambrose Ali university chapter and I was encouraged by my friends to take it to the next level and of course a vision came through which is my focus as a DJ.

Meaning you never fancied your course of study?
Well at the beginning I didn't but now I am glad to have the knowledge which I am working with in my business in understanding how human beings think and relate with their environment.

What inspired the name “DJ SALT”?
By the grace of God I have come to understand that I am not just a natural being but a supernatural being because the bible says I am the salt of the earth. So DJSALT was birthed from Matthew5:13-14.

How did you get money to start up?
What we need to understand is that we cannot get all the capital we need to start a business. I started out borrowing laptop from my friends whenever I had a job till I got mine even sound equipments I still rented them from the money I am paid. God will always bless the labour of your hands, it a point we must understand so we don't let fear of money kill our dreams or visions.

Officially, when did DJ SALT start?
I started officially in 2011.

As a business what is the profit margin?
As a business your profit depends the value you place on yourself, the profit is not fix you set the limit to your profit.

Is DJ SALT into Disc joggling alone?
For now yes but there is more to the vision than just joggling.

Are you solely a Gospel DJ and what are the challenges so far?
Yes and not because of the fact that i am a Christian but I enjoy joggling on gospel songs more than secular songs. Well there is no field without challenges but the ability to pull through is by his grace because you are not the first and won’t be the last to go through the part you are trending on. My challenges are many of which time won’t permit to share but I still expect more challenges on the way because i trust God to be faithful.
